This year we're really excited to be back after the 18 months. We've got some great events lined up and would love to see as many of you as possible join in.

SUSTAINABLE OVERTON GREEN MARKET
Community Centre Forecourt
(or St Mary's Hall, weather dependant)
10.00am - 12.00pm
Come and meet some of our 50 volunteers, browse the stalls, see our repair cafe, meet our Energy Champions, Food Waste Champions, see the Nappy Library, our Traidcraft Stall, and more. Agne's Zero Waste Stall will also be there, so remember to bring your own container to reduce plastic packaging.
HONOURING OVERTON

To mark the journey that we as a community have all been through over the last 18 months, to reflect and honour the people of Overton, and to look beyond the pandemic to a brighter future.
CHICKEN & CHORIZO PAELLA

Cafe Pueblo will be cooking their chicken & chorizo paella dish. Come and try some.
Saturday 25th September
CHILDREN'S BUG HUNT
Little Meadow
11.00am
Join Jane at Little Meadow as we go exploring and looking for all kinds of fascinating insects. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult please.

FAMILY PICNIC
The Community Orchard
12.00pm
Bring your own picnic and food, rugs, chairs, etc... See the apple trees which may be ready to pick soon.
BIRD WALK
Meet at the London Road Car Park
2.00pm
Join Peter a for a bird walk. Make sure to bring appropriate footwear and clothing to walk over farmland.
Monday 27th September
BEESWAX WRAP MAKING
WORKSHOP
Cafe Pueblo
7.30pm
Join Alison as she shows you how to make a beeswax wrap. All materials will be provided. Each wrap costs £1.50. Please book in advance by emailing Laura at clerk@overtonparishcouncil.gov.uk

Tuesday 22nd September
OVERTON BAG-MAKING
WORKSHOP
Cafe Pueblo
7.30pm
Join Laura as she shows you how to mark your very own bag. Please bring a sewing machine with you if you have one. All materials will be provided or visit www.morsbag.com/make-a-morsbag/ for the pattern. Our aim is to have these in all the shops in Overton for people to borrow, to eliminate plastic bags.
